* Busy all over

So, I never wrote that follow-up post about Backpack. Partly because 37signals addressed some of my issues anyway, and partly because I've been unseasonably busy with various events and so on. The most fun of which was probably the Pirate Party, at which we were voted Best Dressed Pirates :)

Other fun stuff included a barbeque with a bunch of firejugglers, who, you know, are all about the pyro — top tip: watching attractive women dancing for the sheer fun of it inside whirling ribbons of flame in an acquaintance's back garden is an ideal way to spend a saturday evening — and then spending several days (along with the rest of The Corporation) in Malta. The weather was nice, and I got to take a bunch of photos, so there's that. The AC in our room was broken, though, so I didn't get much sleep and I was paying for it for some time afterwards. Damn sleep debt, I seem to have the same relationship to it that Americans have with credit-card debt :-P
